About the role

Dexcom Corporation, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, seeks a Sr Manager, Software Systems & Solutions to lead teams in system engineering, performance optimization, and technical excellence across core technologies including Bluetooth, hardware, software, data, and AI. The role involves defining scalable architectures from transmitter to cloud, guiding engineers on hardware design, firmware, and software, and driving end‑to‑end solutions. The manager will collaborate with product managers, hardware and software teams, and external partners to translate privacy‑centric, secure requirements into productized solutions. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, 13+ years of industry experience, and 5‑8 years of people‑management experience, with strong technical expertise in wireless domains such as Bluetooth, RFID, or cellular. lead and build system engineering, performance optimizations, and technical excellence teams around core technologies (Bluetooth, Hardware, Software, Data, and AI).
lead product requirements across the solution spectrum (Hardware, Software, and AI/Data).
use data to inform decisions about products, technology, and teams.
lead a team of engineers and managers to deliver end-to-end hardware and software solutions.
provide leadership for defining scalable architecture from transmitter, mobile, and cloud.
guide architects and engineers on Bluetooth, hardware design, firmware, and software.
drive innovation through the creation of end-to-end solutions from transmitter to cloud.
foster a culture of system design towards innovation excellence.
take a hands-on engineering leadership role for a team of engineers and architects.
work with Dexcom product managers, hardware engineering, software engineering, and cross-functional engineering teams to refine product concepts and productize innovative solutions.
translate information needs of external partners, customers, and industry into end-to-end requirements and technically facilitate the right privacy-centric, secure, compliant solutions.

What you’ll bring

Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
5-8 years of previous people management experience.
