About the role

Embedded Systems Team at L&T Precision Engineering & Systems builds robust software for mission‑critical hardware. The developer creates application software for embedded platforms, designs distributed architectures, and implements communication protocols and UI components. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model, the role involves leading projects and collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Write and maintain C/C++ code for embedded applications
• Configure and optimize Linux/VxWorks environments
• Integrate and validate serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN interfaces
• Create and refine UI functionality for embedded devices
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and customers
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project milestones

What you’ll bring

• 6-12 years experience
• Proficiency in C and C++
• Linux and VxWorks OS expertise
• Experience with Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN protocols
• UI development for embedded devices
• Knowledge of PowerPC/ARM architectures
• Project leadership skills
