What you’ll do
- Design and build automated static program analysis frameworks at Google scale
- Design and build secure code exploration based reverse engineering tools
- Research and propose new ideas to detect trending malware using static analysis
- Write product or system development code
- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback
- Contribute to documentation and educational content
- Triage product issues and debug/track/resolve them
What you’ll bring
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in static program analysis, compilers, or security
- Experience with malware analysis, threat or abuse detection
Nice to have
- 2 years of experience in security and privacy
- Exceptional engineering capabilities
