About the role

Hyland Security Architecture team safeguards Hyland's products and services by ensuring secure design, rigorous testing, and proactive vulnerability management. The Lead Software Security Architect defines and drives security education programs, maintains comprehensive threat models, and leads implementation of security controls across company products. Hyderabad, India, Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite, relocation available.

What you’ll do

• Define and implement security education programs for engineering teams
• Review software designs and test plans to ensure security standards
• Maintain up-to-date threat models for all products and services
• Lead definition and review of security controls across products
• Assess and prioritize remediation of vulnerabilities
• Mentor and coach engineering teams on secure development practices
• Ensure security verification tools meet industry standards

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years security testing and tooling experience
• 3+ years cloud security experience with AWS Security Specialty certification
• 3+ years experience with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2 compliance frameworks
• 3+ years experience with security incident processes

AWS Security Specialty certification
