About the role

Global Credit Finance (GCF) Loan Operations at State Street provides operational support for loan products across the enterprise. The Officer will supervise end‑to‑end loan servicing, manage cash movements, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with policies while leading a team of analysts. Bangalore, on‑site, with all shifts including night coverage, and opportunities to drive process improvements and train new joiners.

What you’ll do

• Monitor team performance to meet SLAs and escalate exceptions
• Supervise deal closing, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments and fee processing
• Initiate cash transfers via internal systems and SWIFT
• Reconcile general ledger and demand deposit accounts
• Maintain letters of credit and interest/fee logs
• Provide client support, training, and handle lifecycle queries
• Drive compliance with policies, guidelines, and controls
• Identify and implement process improvements

What you’ll bring

• ~10 years loan operations experience
• General accounting knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Banking or lending background preferred
