About the role
Senior Workday Platform Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations (PECI, RaaS, EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, Web Services). Collaborates with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity, Time Keeping, Travel & Expense, Procurement, and other IT teams to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, regression testing, and maintain data integrity. Adheres to Workday security and compliance, collaborates with implementation partners, maintains technical documentation, stays current with integration updates, and manages platform tasks such as SSO, tenant refreshes, and certificate updates.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations, including PECI, RaaS, EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity platform, Time Keeping, Travel and Expense, Procurement, and other IT teams to gather data requirements and design integration solutions.
- Perform impact analysis, regression testing during Workday and other integrated application upgrades.
- Adhere to Workday Security, compliance and best practices while maintaining data integrity.
- Collaborate with Workday implementation partners, AMS Support team and Workday product team.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Integration design documents, process workflows.
- Stay current with Workday integration updates and releases, evaluating new features and recommending optimizations to existing integrations.
- Maintain Workday platform - SSO set up, Tenant Refreshes, Certificate updates.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience as Workday integration developer with experience in Workday PECI, Core Connector, Studio, Web Services, XML/XSLT transformation.
- Experience with Workday reporting, Workday security configuration.
- Understanding of Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition, Talent development, compensation modules.
- Experience with implementing payroll integrations using PECI template.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving Skills with ability to debug complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to Work effectively with business and IT technical teams.
- Experience working with Data privacy regulations, IT Sox compliance and audit processes.
- Experience in leading junior integration developers and third-party implementation teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Deep experience working within and contributing to Integration systems that consistently scale across platforms.
