About the role

What you’ll do
- Design and launch complex search solutions
- Set architectural standards and solve large‑scale challenges
- Lead code reviews, documentation, and high‑risk bug fixes
- Partner across engineering for company‑wide programs
- Mentor junior team members
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years software leadership
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related
- Experience with Lucene/Solr/Elasticsearch
- Deep knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes
- Expertise in Java, Spring, REST, NoSQL
- Building event‑driven pipelines (Kafka, SQS, SNS)
- Familiarity with Flink, Temporal, CI/CD
