Senior Consultant - Workday Integrations

About the role

Makse Group is a consulting firm that empowers clients with Workday solutions. The Senior Consultant – Workday Integrations leads the design, development, and execution of complex Workday integration projects, gathering requirements, defining technical specifications, and managing the full lifecycle from implementation to post-implementation support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, client discussions on system optimizations, and mentoring junior consultants. Candidates should have expertise in Workday integration design, development, and troubleshooting, proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and REST, strong project management skills, excellent communication and client-facing abilities, 3‑5 years of consulting experience focused on systems integration, and a bachelor’s degree or higher.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development and execution of complex Workday solutions that align with client business objectives.
• Lead client interactions, gathering requirements, and determining technical specifications for integration projects.
• Design and develop complex integrations using Workday and other technology platforms.
• Manage the full integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and post-implementation support.
• Provide high-level troubleshooting, conducting root cause analyses, and recommending corrective actions.
• Create detailed documentation for integrations, including specifications, field mappings, and designs.
• Drive client discussions on system optimizations and enhancement opportunities based on new features from Workday releases.
• Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and oversight on technical aspects of the projects.

What you’ll bring

• Expertise in integration design, development, and troubleshooting with Workday and other platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and REST.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead integrations from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting, with a focus on systems integration and technical problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
