About the role

Global Delivery Centre (GDC) at ERM drives business continuity and digital transformation for the firm’s worldwide operations. As Head of Engineering and Architecture you will define and execute the enterprise architecture vision, align technology investments with strategy, and lead a global team of architects. Based in New Delhi, on-site, you will partner with senior leaders to modernize platforms, optimize cloud usage, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Define long‑term architectural vision and governance standards
• Develop enterprise‑wide technology strategies and roadmaps
• Partner with business and tech leaders to ensure alignment of investments
• Guide solution architecture across applications, data, infrastructure, and cloud
• Lead platform modernization and cloud optimization initiatives
• Oversee architecture reviews and ensure compliance with standards
• Monitor emerging technologies to drive innovation
• Support talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession within the architecture function

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years enterprise architecture experience
• Proven leadership of global architecture teams
• Track record aligning business strategy with technology roadmaps
• Expertise in cloud platforms, digital transformation, and modern software delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience driving application portfolio optimization and cost-efficiency
• Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices
• People leadership, coaching, and team development
