Principal Data Operations Analyst

About the role

The Principal Data Operations Analyst role within NIQ's Data Operations team serves as the technical bridge between Supplier Engagement and internal operations, ensuring data integrity from retailer inputs. The position focuses on resolving BAU queries, managing MSD tickets, executing data quality assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize data flows in Gurgaon. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

What you’ll do

• Act as the primary bridge between Supplier Engagement teams and other Ops pillars
• Resolve BAU data queries and track MSD ticket closure
• Conduct data quality checks including eDive testing and RAP scoring
• Manage retailer onboarding, compliance, and data receipt reminders
• Analyze and classify large datasets from multiple sources and formats
• Report KPIs and drive productivity initiatives for operational stability

What you’ll bring

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience in statistics or data analytics
• 3+ years of relevant professional work experience
• Proficiency in Python, FoxPro, and Unix query development
• Experience with Cloud Platforms, SAP, FTP, and MFT setup
• Ability to extract, transform, load, and clean large datasets
• Extensive knowledge in Retail, specifically POS and supply chain
