About the role
Operations - eData Governance team at NielsenIQ ensures data quality and operational efficiency for retail data pipelines. The Principal Data Operations Analyst bridges supplier engagement and ops pillars, handling data onboarding, quality checks, MSD ticket resolution, and KPI reporting. Works onsite in Gurgaon, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive data improvements and operational initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Act as SPOC between Supplier Engagement and Ops teams
- Manage retailer onboarding, data receipt, and compliance
- Track and resolve MSD tickets and data quality issues
- Conduct quality checks and RAP scoring
- Provide KPI updates and productivity initiative reports
- Identify operational efficiency opportunities
- Coordinate data reminders and communications
- Collaborate on system change and data correction processes
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years experience in data operations
- Python programming
- FoxPro
- Cloud platforms
- SAP and transactional data handling
- ETL processes and large data set management
- Unix/Python query development
- Master's degree in statistics or data analytics or equivalent
