About the role

Vanguard India Cloud Security Team secures the firm’s cloud infrastructure to protect client data and ensure compliance. The engineer designs, implements, and maintains security platforms on AWS and Azure, mentors junior staff, and leads incident response and audit initiatives. Hyderabad, India, hybrid (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

  • Design and deploy secure cloud platforms
  • Provide advanced technical support and monitoring
  • Develop auditing methodologies for cloud data protection
  • Manage code promotion and production support
  • Mentor junior staff and document processes
  • Administer system activities and perform analysis
  • Participate in special projects
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and breach detection

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years cloud security experience
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
  • Hands‑on AWS and Azure security
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
  • Proficiency in IAM, PAM, and key management
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA
  • Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell
  • Container and Kubernetes security
