About the role
Digital Design Engineering team at onsemi develops mixed‑signal IP for automotive, industrial and medical markets. The Senior Digital Design Engineer defines architecture, drives design and verification of CMOS/SOI components, leads sub‑project teams and collaborates on DFT and SoC integration. Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Define architecture and conduct feasibility studies for new analog/mixed‑signal IP
- Drive design and verification of state‑of‑the‑art CMOS/SOI designs
- Lead small sub‑project teams and support SoC integration
- Propose innovative solutions to meet customer and product needs
- Collaborate on DFT strategies and document designs thoroughly
- Partner with test, product and applications engineering for production release
- Produce architecture, circuit, testing and safety documentation
What you’ll bring
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4-6 years ultra‑low‑power digital design using Verilog/SystemVerilog
- System‑level thinking and technical leadership
- Strong communication in English
- Experience with Verilog‑A or VHDL‑AMS (plus)
- Embedded CPU and AMBA bus protocol knowledge (plus)
- ADC/DAC/PLL/power management experience (plus)
- Python automation and C/C++ embedded software (plus)
