Specialist, SAP Master Data

About the role

e.l.f. Beauty seeks a Specialist, SAP Master Data to ensure the integrity of product master data across its multi-brand portfolio. This hands-on role involves creating and maintaining SAP Material Master records while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to drive data quality and governance. The position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, operating under a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end creation, maintenance, and governance of SAP Material Master records
• Define data collection, reporting, and quality assurance processes
• Proactively identify, root cause, and resolve data quality issues
• Champion data best practices and enable data owners through training
• Lead development of master data governance policies and scalable workflows
• Drive data requirements for system enhancements and new integrations
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline master data processes

What you’ll bring

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with SAP Material Master Data creation and maintenance
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for large datasets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Background in beauty, retail, or CPG industries
• Experience with PLM systems, particularly Centric PLM
• Experience supporting SAP system implementations, integrations, or data migrations
