About the role

PTC R&D team builds the flagship PLM suite Windchill on a SaaS platform, enabling secure product lifecycle management. The Technical Lead drives secure Java development, automation, code reviews, and DevOps vision to shift security left across the software supply chain. Based in Pune, India, on-site work model with collaboration across multi‑site cross‑functional teams.

What you’ll do

Develop and deploy highly secure Java applications across environments
Achieve 100% automation in build and deployment processes
Conduct code analysis, reviews, and bug fixing
Implement system hardening and configuration management best practices
Facilitate knowledge sharing across cross‑functional teams
Communicate design decisions, impacts, and trade‑offs effectively
Shape DevOps roadmap and vision

What you’ll bring

3-6 years Java server‑side development
Experience with Oracle DB or Microsoft SQL
Knowledge of PLM software (Windchill) a plus
Strong focus on security and zero‑trust policies
Passion for 100% automation and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
Proven Java programming expertise
Experience with database technologies
