Senior Analyst - Accounting

About the role

Quince, a direct-to-consumer retailer disrupting retail with AI and automation, seeks a Senior Analyst to lead technical accounting operations in Bengaluru. The role involves owning inventory, lease, revenue, and investment accounting while acting as controller for a European subsidiary. This on-site position leverages a modern stack including NetSuite and AI tools to automate workflows and drive financial accuracy.

What you’ll do

• Own inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation
• Manage lease accounting (ASC 842) schedules and disclosures
• Execute revenue recognition (ASC 606) and investment accounting (ASC 320/321)
• Act as controller for a European subsidiary
• Build and maintain monthly accrual models for marketing and logistics
• Prepare and post journal entries using AI automation
• Architect GL-to-subledger and bank reconciliations
• Partner with Marketing, Logistics, and FP&A to resolve discrepancies

What you’ll bring

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required
• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong conceptual grip on US GAAP, accruals, and controls
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets
• Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Coupa, Numeric, or Brex
• Exposure to workflow tools like Jira or Freshservice
• E-commerce, supply chain, or operational finance background
