AI Business Analyst

About the role

SS&C Technologies, a leading financial services and healthcare technology firm, drives automation across its global operations. As an AI Business Analyst you will map and evaluate workflows, create process maps and data flow diagrams, define business requirements, and collaborate with AI Engineers to ensure automated systems apply correct logic, while coordinating UAT and measuring efficiency gains. Hyderabad, Hybrid work model, with flexible schedule and relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Map and evaluate operational workflows across internal business units to isolate high-value automation opportunities
• Deconstruct manual desk procedures into explicit process maps, technical data flow diagrams, and decision matrices
• Define strict business requirements, exception pathways, and validation rules for trade breaking, reconciliation, and reporting processes
• Work closely with AI Engineers to verify that automated systems accurately apply business rules and logic
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, operational review cycles, and Human-In-The-Loop review interfaces
• Calculate operational baselines and measure post-implementation efficiency gains to validate project business cases

What you’ll bring

• 5-8 years experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Operations, FinTech, or Enterprise Automation programs
• Proficiency in process modeling standards such as BPMN and UML and detailed functional specification writing
• Strong knowledge of core financial products, back‑office processing workflows, and trade management lifecycles
• Understanding of AI automation capabilities, data extraction limitations, and operational risk controls
• Proficiency in SQL for independent database querying and operational data analysis
