About the role

Linxon’s Solution Architect – AI & IT Applications leads end‑to‑end architecture for engineering, project delivery, SAP ERP, and AI‑enabled solutions. The role translates business needs into clear, secure, scalable designs, governs migrations, and embeds responsible AI principles across the substation EPC portfolio. Based in Chennai, the position requires onsite presence with a focus on cross‑functional collaboration and vendor challenge.

What you’ll do

• Own architecture for engineering & BIM, project controls, enterprise platforms, SAP ERP, and AI solutions
• Translate business requirements into end‑to‑end designs and roadmaps
• Define target states, transition architectures, and ensure consistency across regions
• Architect application separation, migration, and rationalisation using Discover‑Separate‑Migrate‑Stabilize
• Govern integration patterns (API, event, batch, IAM/SSO) and data flow clarity
• Embed security, IAM, and compliance into all architectures
• Act as design authority for applications, ERP, and AI
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, DevOps, and Support to deliver architectural intent
• Provide oversight for SAP S/4HANA, ARIBA, and analytics transitions

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture
• Experience in multi‑vendor, multi‑platform environments
• Strong exposure to engineering platforms, Microsoft ecosystem, SAP ERP
• Experience architecting AI‑enabled solutions
• Stakeholder management and vendor‑challenge capability
• Successful migrations and ERP transitions
• Audit‑ready architecture
