Principal Technical Service Engineer

About the role

Technical Service Engineering at Topsoe, delivering advanced catalyst and plant performance solutions for ammonia, methanol and hydrogen facilities. The role provides technical evaluations, quotation preparation, on‑site support during catalyst loading, start‑up and troubleshooting, and partners with account managers to develop new business opportunities. New Delhi, On-site, with frequent travel to customer sites.

What you’ll do

• Perform catalyst calculations and prepare technical quotations
• Conduct plant and catalyst performance evaluations
• Provide on‑site technical support for loading, start‑up, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with account managers to identify and develop business opportunities
• Deliver technical presentations and customer training
• Visit customer sites to promote catalyst and hardware solutions
• Maintain technical and commercial customer databases
• Build and sustain long‑term customer relationships

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 20+ years experience in chemical industry, especially ammonia, methanol, hydrogen plants
• Proven technical service and plant operations background
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop technical quotations and performance assessments
