Solutions Architect - Presales

About the role

Dell Technologies seeks a Solutions Architect to design end-to-end infrastructure solutions using the Dell ISG portfolio, including servers, storage, and networking. The role involves translating customer requirements into scalable architectures, conducting technical assessments, and supporting the sales cycle with proposals and demonstrations. This position is based in Mumbai, India, on an on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions using Dell PowerEdge Servers, Power Store, Power Scale, Power Flex, Power Vault, and Networking
• Translate customer business requirements into scalable technical architectures
• Conduct discovery workshops, technical assessments, and present solutions to customer leadership
• Support Account/Sales/Product Managers by developing BoMs, HLDs, LLDs, and RFP/RFQ responses
• Perform sizing, configuration, and solution validation
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
• Identify opportunities for modernization, cloud adoption, AI, and data center transformation
• Collaborate with Dell sales teams, partners, and OEM alliances

What you’ll bring

• 8–15+ years in Infrastructure, Data Centre, Cloud, Virtualization, or Enterprise Architecture
• Experience in technical sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture preferred
• Deep knowledge of Compute, Storage, Networking technologies
• Proficiency with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Windows Server, Linux
• Expertise in Hybrid Cloud & Multi-Cloud Architectures
• Understanding of AI/GenAI Infrastructure Solutions

• VMware VCP certification
