About the role
Application Engineering - Industrial team within the R&D Business Unit develops and validates generator subsystems and BOM configurations. The role designs, tests, and validates components using DVP, DFMEA, CAD, and GD&T while coordinating with suppliers and validation teams. Kothrud, Pune, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Develop and validate generator subsystems and components
- Guide validation team on test plans and key tests
- Create functional BOMs and manage configuration options
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers for prototype and final builds
- Apply engineering standards and failure analysis techniques
What you’ll bring
- 4-9 years experience in generator subsystem design
- Proficiency with DVP, SOR, FIRG, 8D, DFA, DFMEA, SPC processes
- CAD and soft analysis tool expertise, GD&T reading
- Test cell operation and troubleshooting experience
- BOM management using Oracle, Windchill EBOM/MBOM
- Knowledge of supplier capabilities and configuration rules
