What you’ll do
- Architect and build Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art digital platform.
- Lead architecture design of end-to-end enterprise integrations.
- Design and implement near real-time data movement solutions.
- Define overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
- Establish data governance policies, standards, and compliance.
- Maintain high standards of software quality with security guardrails.
- Develop and maintain current, planned, and future state architecture blueprints.
- Work with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing.
What you’ll bring
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 12+ years software development experience or 3+ years architecture experience.
- 5+ years designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for scalability.
- 5+ years Data Warehousing experience with performance optimization.
Nice to have
- Experience designing, developing, deploying software at scale with concurrency.
- Proficiency in Python OOP.
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure) and Big Data pipelines.
- Experience building Large Data Lakes and Snowflake data warehouses.
- Knowledge of AI concepts and latest developments (Gen AI, MCP, ATA).
