About the role
Halliburton Digital team ensures the reliability and quality of E&P data and applications. The Principal Software QA Engineer leads automated testing, validates subsurface and drilling datasets, and supports cloud‑based deployments on AWS and Azure. Bengaluru, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days.
What you’ll do
- Perform QA for Landmark applications ensuring data integrity
- Validate subsurface, drilling, and production datasets
- Develop and maintain automated QA scripts
- Support cloud‑based E&P application deployments
- Build, test, and validate Docker images and containers
- Deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads
- Participate in CI/CD processes and release validation
- Document QA processes and ensure compliance
What you’ll bring
- Technical school or equivalent experience
- Experience with OpenWorks, Petrel, Landmark EDT
- Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python scripting
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services
- Docker and Kubernetes expertise
- Linux and Windows environments
