About the role

Public Health Engineering team at Egis focuses on designing sustainable public health infrastructure for the Middle East and South Asia. The Lead Engineer will spearhead public health system design from concept through construction, develop detailed calculations and specifications, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure client satisfaction. Based in Bengaluru, India, this on‑site role involves direct client interaction and business development activities.

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage public health engineering projects from conception to completion
• Develop and review detailed designs, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Analyze data to inform decision‑making and problem‑solving
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations
• Drive business development initiatives and maintain client relationships

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years experience in public health services design
• Strong experience delivering projects in UAE and Saudi Arabia
• In‑depth knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes
• Proven leadership and client‑facing communication skills
