QA API Engineer | QA Automation

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute automated API test scripts.
• Build and maintain Newman-based collections for CI/CD.
• Write JavaScript assertions for API validation.
• Design reusable test frameworks and utilities.
• Collaborate with dev and product teams on API contracts.
• Perform API mocking and stubbing.
• Implement data-driven testing and parameterization.
• Troubleshoot API defects with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize test suites for performance and reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years API automation testing experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Postman, Newman.
• Strong RESTful API and microservices knowledge.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Familiar with GCP cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail/e-commerce domain.
• Knowledge of API governance and security best practices.
• Rest Assured (Java) experience a plus.
• Swagger/OpenAPI contract testing familiarity.
• Performance testing with JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
