About the role
QA Technical Lead on PTC's software engineering team, driving quality for API-driven products. Leads end-to-end QA activities including test planning, API automation with SoapUI, performance testing with JMeter, and mentoring a QA team in an Agile environment. Based in Pune, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Define and implement API automation strategies
- Design and execute performance and load tests
- Lead test planning, design, execution, and defect management
- Collaborate with developers and product owners in Agile ceremonies
- Provide testing status, risk, and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years software testing
- API test automation using SoapUI
- Performance testing with JMeter
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Leadership and team mentoring
- Strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Selenium or Playwright
- Experience with enterprise SaaS applications like Salesforce
