Assistant Manager

About the role

KPMG seeks an Assistant Manager – Gen AI to lead AI/ML platform development, design LLM and RAG pipelines, build microservices, and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities include coding in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain), deploying on Azure, AWS or GCP, implementing MLOps CI/CD, ensuring Responsible AI compliance, and collaborating with architects and product teams. Candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, AI or related field, have experience building enterprise‑scale AI/ML platforms, and contribute to open‑source AI projects.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement AI/GenAI models for text, structured and conversational data
• Build and integrate AI microservices via APIs and event‑driven patterns
• Implement MLOps workflows including CI/CD and model monitoring
• Deploy AI workloads on Azure ML, AWS SageMaker or GCP Vertex AI
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and product teams
• Champion Responsible AI principles
• Ensure cost optimization, latency reduction and security compliance

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of agent‑based frameworks (AgentOps)
• Contributions to open‑source AI/ML projects
• Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases
