Regional Front End Planning Program Manager – Data Centres
About the role
JLL is seeking a Regional Front End Planning Program Manager – Data Centres to deliver APAC-wide program management, consultancy, and project management support for a Global Hyperscale Client. The role involves hands-on critical infrastructure and systems project delivery, design and engineering management, commissioning, close-out, and early site-planning for newbuild/greenfield developments, with responsibility for capital budget management and regional project delivery. Based on-site in Mumbai, MH, the position requires up to 25% travel within APAC and reports to the Work Dynamics Account Lead.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the FEP Global scheduling team and engage with APAC FEP, DES, PCG, and DCS teams to synchronize efforts
- Compile and develop program schedules for design and construction projects while maintaining accuracy and consistency in timelines
- Produce and update templates and project pro-forma materials for senior management
- Facilitate scheduled and ad-hoc program meetings with Client Regional Program Managers, document notes, track actionable items, and ensure follow-up
- Manage project controls within the Client's software, execute Term Sheet processes, initiate contracts, complete Stage Gate deliverables, and conduct end-to-end project risk analysis
- Compile and execute weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly reports including Project Dashboards, APAC Reviews, Term Sheet Production, and DCStat P&P Active Reporting
- Drive process improvements aligned with the Construction Agreement and Project Manual, and provide interface support with partner teams and vendors
- Establish a pre-construction program planning function aligned with the Build Development Plan (BDP) and assist with team OKRs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution, with preference towards Real Estate, Engineering, or Projects/Construction Management
- At least 15 years' overall experience and 10 years Critical Systems experience
- Previous role as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, or similar
- Hands-on experience in Design, Installation, Commissioning, and ISTs in data centres
- Strong working knowledge of technical drawings and single line diagrams
- Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
- Familiar with local statutory submissions and approvals process
- Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders
Nice to have
- Prior experience in Program Management with international experience in capital works and/or programs with multiple projects
- Technical Engineering background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in remote management
