About the role
Lead - Front end Collections at Aditya Birla Capital Limited drives national-level front-end collections for the retail business, ensuring portfolio performance, governance, and adherence to credit and operational risk parameters. Day-to-day, the role leads regional collection heads and central teams to achieve collection efficiencies, reduce delinquency, and optimize costs through analytics, technology, and vendor management. Based at R-Tech Park Goregaon, Maharashtra, India.
What you’ll do
- Achieve target collection efficiency and ensure continuous reduction in delinquency and NPA ratios.
- Implement early warning and predictive monitoring systems to identify stress accounts and mitigate slippages.
- Drive performance of zonal and regional collection heads through regular reviews, target setting, and performance dashboards.
- Establish governance framework for empaneled collection agencies, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and compliance parameters.
- Ensure 100% adherence to internal audit norms, RBI guidelines, and ABCL compliance standards across all regions.
- Leverage collection analytics to design performance dashboards, predict recovery trends, and improve field productivity.
- Collaborate with the digital team to integrate tele-calling, digital payment links, and automated reminders for better efficiency.
- Work closely with Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal teams to resolve policy, process, and customer-related challenges.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading and managing national-level front-end collections for a retail lending portfolio.
- Strong understanding of credit and operational risk parameters, delinquency management, and NPA reduction.
- Ability to drive regional and zonal collection teams toward targeted collection efficiencies.
- Experience in vendor and agency management, including governance, audits, and performance scorecards.
- Proficiency in leveraging analytics, technology, and digital tools for collection performance and decision-making.
- Knowledge of RBI guidelines, internal audit norms, and compliance standards for NBFC collections.
- Analytical mindset to interpret performance data, identify improvement levers, and execute corrective actions.
- Experience balancing aggressive collection targets with ethical recovery practices and customer experience.
