Senior Digital Architect

About the role

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Senior Digital Architect for its Applications Development & Intelligence Automation team in Bangalore to design and implement enterprise-scale Oracle CPQ solutions. The role involves hands-on development, integration architecture, and technical governance to drive business impact. This is an on-site position based at the Whitefield office.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement scalable Oracle CPQ solutions and customizations
• Develop REST/SOAP APIs, BMQL, and custom web services
• Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver solutions
• Provide technical governance through code reviews and validation
• Manage Oracle CPQ upgrades and release deployments
• Troubleshoot CPQ configuration and Java integration issues

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM-related field
• 10 years of enterprise integration architecture experience
• 5+ years hands-on Oracle CPQ solution development
• 8+ years Java application development experience
• 8+ years Web & Front-End development (HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
• 8+ years Web services (SOAP/REST) and API development
