Senior Security Operations Lead, Digital Networks

About the role

Digital Networks Security Operations at Philips safeguards enterprise network security across firewalls, proxies, and secure‑access platforms. The lead provides hands‑on expertise with Cisco Secure Firewall, Zscaler, and related technologies, drives automation via Python, Ansible and Terraform, and ensures audit readiness for NIS2 and ISO 27001. Based in Bangalore with a hybrid model requiring at least three days onsite per week, the role also mentors junior engineers and collaborates with security architects and vendors.

What you’ll do

• Manage firewall, proxy, and SSE estate lifecycle and hygiene
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Terraform modules
• Lead incident response and break‑glass escalation for security events
• Own change governance, RCA, and SLA/KPI tracking in ServiceNow
• Maintain audit evidence and risk registers for regulatory compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with vendors and MSPs

What you’ll bring

• 10-15 years enterprise network security experience
• Current hands‑on Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD/FMC/ASA)
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA or similar SSE platforms
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform for automation
• Active CCNP Security certification
• Familiarity with ITIL v4 and audit frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001)
