Senior Site Engineer MEP

About the role

AECOM seeks a Senior Site Engineer for MEP works on airport terminal buildings and support facilities across Ahmedabad, Mangalore, and Trivandrum. The role involves supervising the installation and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. This is a hybrid position based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

What you’ll do

• Supervise day-to-day execution of MEP works in terminal buildings and airport support facilities
• Ensure installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems per approved drawings
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams for proper system integration
• Review MEP shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals prior to site execution
• Monitor project progress to ensure completion according to schedules and milestones
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and aviation requirements
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and performance validation of installed MEP systems
• Maintain site documentation including inspection records, progress reports, and quality control files

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in execution and supervision of MEP works for large infrastructure projects

Nice to have

• Experience working on airport terminal projects, transportation hubs, or large commercial developments
• Strong coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and architectural engineers
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction documentation tools
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations
