About the role
Traction Power Engineering team at WSP designs and delivers traction power supply solutions for rail projects. The Senior Engineer creates and coordinates designs from business case through detailed engineering, supports clients across the asset lifecycle, prepares tender proposals, and conducts technical and feasibility studies. Bengaluru, India, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Design and coordinate traction power projects from business case to AFC
- Support clients throughout asset lifecycle
- Prepare tender proposals
- Conduct technical reports and feasibility studies
- Perform earthing & bonding and protection studies
- Liaise with clients and develop relationships
- Engage in AC/DC traction electrification design
- Utilize software tools such as CDGES, PSCAD, MATLAB, ETAP
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics and Power engineering
- 10 years traction power supply engineering design experience
- Chartered status (CPEng/NER/RPEQ) preferred
