About the role

Security Automation (SOAR) team at EY builds automated playbooks to streamline security incident response. The Senior Security Automation Developer designs, implements, and maintains SOAR playbooks and integrations with tools like SIEM, EDR, and cloud services, collaborating with CSOC analysts to improve response times. Hyderabad, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days as needed.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and maintain SOAR playbooks
• Develop integrations between SOAR platform and security tools
• Collaborate with CSOC teams to identify automation opportunities
• Establish best practices for playbook design and documentation
• Gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives
• Develop metrics to measure workflow effectiveness
• Provide training and documentation to analysts
• Offer advanced technical support for the SOAR platform

What you’ll bring

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or IT-related field
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms (e.g., Tines)
• Experience in security automation or incident response
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
