About the role
Edwards Lifesciences IT Innovation Hub (Pune) builds automation, data and AI capabilities to support global technology. The Senior Analyst leads SIEM engineering, designs log ingestion pipelines, creates parsers and normalization rules, and builds automation use cases and AI‑Agents for incident response and cloud security. Pune, India, On-site.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain log ingestion pipelines from cloud, on‑prem and SaaS sources
- Write and tune field extraction rules, parsers and normalization logic
- Onboard new data sources end‑to‑end including schema mapping and validation
- Partner with detection engineers to ensure data quality for use‑case coverage
- Manage log volume for cost optimization and routing policies
- Operate and maintain SIEM and data pipeline services
- Develop complex automation use cases and AI‑Agents for incident response, IAM and cloud security
- Improve security data pipelines through innovative automations
- Stay informed on evolving cyber threats to enhance SIEM processes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5 years relevant experience
Nice to have
- SIEM management experience
- Expertise with Splunk, QRadar or Google SecOps
- Experience with security data pipeline tools like Cribl
- SOAR platform operations (Torq, PaloAlto XSOAR)
- Parser creation using regex, Grok, CEF/LEEF
- Data source onboarding for OT/ICS, API telemetry
- Log forwarding tools (rsyslog, Fluentd, NXLog)
- Python or Bash scripting
