About the role

Global Demand Insights team at Amgen focuses on turning demand data into actionable insights for the company's supply chain. The Senior Associate generates analytics, monitors forecast performance, applies statistical forecasting, and ensures data quality while collaborating with global, regional, and country stakeholders. Hyderabad, India, on-site role supporting integrated business planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Generate demand analytics and insights to support monthly consensus forecasting
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting for forecast accuracy and bias
• Apply statistical forecasting methods and run scenario analyses
• Maintain data quality in demand planning systems and partner with IT for enhancements
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align insights with business objectives
• Identify automation opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or related field
• 2+ years experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics or commercial analytics
• Proficiency with global demand planning systems such as Anaplan, Kinaxis or SAP
• Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools
• Familiarity with SQL, Python or R
