About the role

Global Demand Insights team within Amgen's Global Supply Chain drives demand analytics and forecasting to support integrated business planning. The Senior Associate transforms global product, regional and country sales data into actionable insights, monitors forecast performance, and runs scenario analyses to align commercial expectations with supply strategies. Hyderabad, India, on-site (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

Analyze global, regional and country‑level sales and forecast data to identify trends and drivers
Develop and maintain KPI reporting for forecast accuracy and bias
Apply statistical forecasting methods and conduct scenario analyses
Maintain data quality in demand planning systems and partner with IT for enhancements
Collaborate with forecast model owners and commercial stakeholders to drive insight adoption

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or related field
2+ years experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics or commercial analytics
Proficiency with global demand planning systems such as Anaplan, Kinaxis or SAP
Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

Knowledge of statistical forecasting principles
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools
Familiarity with SQL, Python or R
Understanding of Integrated Business Planning processes
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
