AM Import/Senior Import Executive

About the role

Lead import operations, manage documentation, customs clearance, freight negotiations, vendor billing, compliance with agencies (NOC, FSSAI, CDSCO, AQ, PQ, DYCC), handle HSS, FTWZ, Bond-to-Bond shipments, coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, finance, and regulators. Ensure SAP entries, warehouse movement, and support new product creation with HSN codes and duty assessments. Minimum 4+ years experience, graduate degree.

What you’ll do

• Manage import documentation and customs clearance.
• Handle export docs, pre/post-shipment activities.
• Negotiate freight with forwarders, manage local transport.
• Verify and approve vendor bills per protocols.
• Coordinate with agencies: NOC, FSSAI, CDSCO, AQ, PQ, DYCC.
• Execute customs clearance for HSS, FTWZ, Bond-to-Bond shipments.
• Document merchant sales transactions.
• Generate local and import purchase orders to suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers, shipping lines, finance, regulators.
• Ensure customs compliance, manage clearing costs/payments.
• Facilitate warehouse movement post-EVA approval, maintain SAP entries.
• Oversee supply chain for LCL, FCL, Bulk shipments.
• Provide inputs for new product creation: HSN codes, duty assessments, licenses.
