About the role
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a C Unix Developer to design, develop, and test batch processing services on Unix/Linux platforms. The role involves coding, debugging, creating specifications, and conducting quality assurance for enterprise-level applications, primarily in the healthcare domain. Fully remote work from anywhere in India, shift timing 2pm-11pm IST.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop batch processing programs
- Write specifications and documentation for low to moderate complexity programs
- Create and execute test plans for new or modified code
- Perform code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Investigate and resolve technical integration issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise
- Batch job automation experience
- Knowledge of healthcare domain (member, claims) preferred
