About the role
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a C Unix Developer to design, develop, and test batch services supporting enterprise-level initiatives. The role involves coding, debugging, documentation, and SQL query optimization within the Member, Managed Care, Provider, Financial, and Claims domains. Remote work from India with shift timings 2:00 PM‑11:00 PM IST, serving locations in Bangalore and Chennai.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, test, and document batch programs
- Gather requirements and prepare technical specifications
- Create and execute test plans for new or modified code
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Assist in resolving defects and suggest alternative solutions
What you’ll bring
- Experience with C and Unix/Linux systems
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL expertise
- Batch job automation and notification services
- Complex SQL query tuning
- Familiarity with Member, Managed Care, Provider, Financial, Claims domains
