About the role
Financial Control Team at J.P. Morgan, Bengaluru. The Financial Controller – Associate drives daily financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance for the global business, ensuring accurate income statements and balance sheets. Works onsite in Bengaluru, collaborating with line‑of‑business controllers and middle office to maintain integrity of financial processes.
What you’ll do
- Manage monthly consolidation of income statement and balance sheet
- Develop and maintain financial reports and schedules
- Control post‑closing entries and consolidation adjustments
- Perform control procedures to ensure integrity of reported results
- Support ad‑hoc financial information requests
- Collaborate with businesses and controllers on P&L statements and general ledger reconciliation
- Provide daily balance sheet commentary and close books during month ends
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 years relevant work experience in controllership or accounting
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP &/or IFRS
- Experience with financial consolidation systems (e.g., SAP interface)
Nice to have
- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance or equivalent
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path or similar
