About the role
Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Process Engineering at Arcadis designs innovative process solutions for pharmaceutical, semiconductor and other process industries. The Senior Process Engineer creates plant layouts, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications and ensures compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards while leading project reviews and documentation. Mumbai, India, on-site role with Arcadis’s collaborative GEC environment.
What you’ll do
- Prepare plant equipment layouts, process flow diagrams and P&IDs
- Develop specifications, data sheets and equipment sizing documents
- Ensure designs meet cGMP, regulatory and SHE standards
- Collaborate with instrumentation team on control philosophies
- Lead project documentation, DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ and FAT/SAT protocols
- Participate in project reviews and status reporting
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 8-14 years process engineering experience in design consultancy
- Knowledge of process analysis, modelling and safety
- Project management and stakeholder communication skills
