Power BI Senior Engineer

About the role

SEI seeks a Power BI Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions. The role involves creating interactive dashboards, translating business needs into technical specs, and integrating data from SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and Azure. Responsibilities include optimizing performance, implementing row‑level security, and collaborating with analysts. Candidates must excel in Power BI Desktop & Service, T‑SQL, Cosmos DB, Power Query (M), DAX, and data modeling. Experience with full end‑to‑end Power BI implementation, Fabric workspace deployment, and governance is required. Strong communication, independent work, and alignment with SEI values are essential. What you’ll do

• Develop interactive reports and dashboards
• Translate business requirements into visualizations
• Integrate data from SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Azure
• Optimize dashboards for usability and performance
• Implement row‑level security and governance protocols
• Collaborate with business analysts
• Build, deploy, maintain data models using Power Query, DAX, datasets
• Provide technical support and documentation
