About the role
Qualcomm Hardware Engineering seeks a CPU STA CAD Engineer to build and support analysis tools and flows for custom CPUs. The role ensures industry-leading power, performance, and area through timing closure methodologies. This position is based in Bangalore, India or Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
What you’ll do
- Build and support world-class analysis tools and flows for custom CPUs.
- Architect and recommend methodology improvements for silicon power, performance, and area.
- Maintain, support, and debug STA and timing closure (ECO) flows.
- Resolve project-specific issues and provide methodology guidance to physical design teams.
- Work with EDA vendors to define roadmaps and resolve tool issues.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field with 6+ years experience, OR Master's with 5+ years, OR PhD with 4+ years.
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience is mandatory.
