About the role

Application Operations (AppOps) team within Global Technology Solutions ensures reliability, performance and security of enterprise applications across AWS and Azure. The Senior Enterprise Software Engineer leads incident management, automates operational tasks with Python/Terraform, and collaborates with DevOps and security teams to maintain high‑availability services. Based in Pune, hybrid model with 8 days remote per month, supporting multi‑cloud infrastructure and mentoring junior engineers.

What you’ll do

Manage and support enterprise applications on AWS and Azure ensuring high availability
Lead incident management, root cause analysis and post‑incident reviews
Monitor application health using CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana
Automate operational tasks and runbooks with scripting and IaC tools
Coordinate change enablement activities and maintain ServiceNow records
Mentor junior engineers and promote operational best practices

What you’ll bring

5-9 years application operations or SRE experience
Strong AWS services knowledge (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, etc.)
Strong Azure services knowledge (App Services, AKS, Functions, etc.)
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or Bash scripting
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins

Nice to have

AWS Solutions Architect certification
Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
ITIL Foundation certification
