About the role

AI Unit (Data Intelligence) at Bajaj Finance builds core data representation and context engineering pipelines for credit risk, fraud, sales, and collections. The Senior Product Specialist designs and operates large‑scale ML systems, feature stores, and retrieval pipelines, collaborating with senior engineers and data scientists to turn raw data into reliable embeddings and knowledge assets. Based in Pune, on‑site work model, focusing on end‑to‑end ML production and governance.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain data representation pipelines and feature engineering
• Build and deploy large‑scale ML training and scoring services
• Create and manage canonical objects, taxonomies, and labeling workflows
• Support retrieval and context engineering for LLM/RAG applications
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and compliance with security/privacy controls

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
• 0-2 years experience in Data Science/Applied ML/ML Engineering

Nice to have

• Strong Python programming
• SQL proficiency
• Git version control
• Data profiling with Pandas or PySpark
• ML fundamentals and embeddings
• Experience with reproducible ML pipelines
