About the role

Wind Turbine Engineering team at Adani Group focuses on designing and optimizing wind turbine components for reliability and performance. The Deputy Manager leads finite element analysis of structures, conducts fatigue and buckling studies, and mentors junior engineers while coordinating with cross‑functional design groups. Based in Ahmedabad, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Conduct extreme and fatigue analysis of wind turbine components
• Perform linear, non‑linear, and system‑level analysis of nacelle and hub
• Model spherical roller bearings and non‑linear materials such as rubber dampers
• Execute buckling analysis and evaluate castings, forgings, and welds per IEC standards
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Plan FEA tasks aligned with business requirements

What you’ll bring

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Design
• 3-5 years of finite element analysis experience
• Proficiency with ANSYS (Workbench and fatigue tools)
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
