Manager I, Quality Assurance Compliance

About the role

At Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, the Manager I, Quality Assurance Compliance (Management Path) develops and maintains compliance systems aligned with cGMP, Health Authority, Alcon Quality Manual, and ISO standards. Day-to-day, you lead a team managing Quality Systems, Complaints, and Supplier Quality Management, facilitate the Quality Strategy and governance, identify process efficiencies, advise on policy, conduct training, manage KPIs, audits, document control, and lead change control. This full-time role is based in Bangalore, India.

What you’ll do

• Lead a team managing Quality Systems, Complaints, and Supplier Quality Management to ensure compliance with cGMP, Health Authority, and ISO standards
• Facilitate the implementation of the Quality Strategy and support governance processes
• Identify opportunities for improved process efficiencies and implement changes
• Advise on policy, conduct training sessions, and manage quality systems for regulatory compliance
• Make operational decisions requiring leadership, time management, communication, and team coordination
• Ensure adherence to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, and completing all required training
• Manage Quality KPI reporting, audits, supplier quality, and document control
• Lead change control processes

What you’ll bring

• Appropriate education and experience to perform the role's responsibilities
• Ability to lead a team managing Quality Systems, Complaints, and Supplier Quality Management
• Knowledge of cGMP, Health Authority, and ISO standards
• Experience implementing global quality standards and Quality Strategy
• Ability to manage KPI reporting, audits, supplier quality, and document control
• Experience leading change control processes
• Ability to advise on policy and conduct training sessions
• Adherence to GxP regulations, SOPs, and documentation requirements
