About the role
AI Foundation team builds the platform infrastructure that enables AI‑assisted software delivery inside CloudBees. The Senior Software Engineer designs, builds, and operates Go services on Kubernetes, owns reliability through SLOs and observability, and integrates AI tooling into CI/CD pipelines. Based in India, on‑site work model, collaborating with ML engineers to deliver production‑grade AI platform capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate Go services on Kubernetes for AI platform
- Define SLOs, create runbooks, and ensure production reliability
- Instrument services with structured logging, tracing, and metrics
- Develop CI/CD pipelines incorporating AI tooling
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate AI models into platform
- Mentor junior engineers and promote production readiness
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years software engineering experience
- Strong Go programming
- Kubernetes operations expertise
- Observability with OpenTelemetry or Prometheus
- Cloud‑native experience on AWS or GCP
- Experience in AI‑augmented development environments
