About the role

Engineering & Technology team at Jio Platforms Limited focuses on network deployment and operations. The Field Engineer ensures material tracking, supervises RF optimization, manages vendor quality, configures L2 switches, troubleshoots routers, and executes field activities per work orders. Digboi onsite, hybrid schedule as needed, with occasional customer surveys and site audits.

What you’ll do

• Track and reconcile material inventory
• Visit sites to ensure operational status
• Supervise RF optimization activities
• Oversee vendor and contractor quality control
• Conduct acceptance testing and audits
• Manage deployment activities by vendors and contractors
• Configure L2 switches and troubleshoot router faults
• Upgrade link capacity and microwave links
• Execute field work orders from Network Operations Centre
• Meet customers for surveys and feedback
• Release FTTH plans and verify routes
• Prepare final construction designs and capacity augmentation plans
